A Brief History of the

Fonderie Darling

Fonderie Darling (or Darling Foundry) was founded by the Darling brothers in 1880 during the peak of the metal works hub in Montreal. At one point the second largest foundry in the city, Fonderie Darling created iron parts that were used in the construction of ships, buildings, and the railroads that helped the city prosper. The Fonderie was successful until the mid 1970s'; however, as the industrial boom subsided, production declined, and Fonderie Darling shut its doors in 1991 and was abandoned. .....read more

5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The cocktail will be held in the Second Gallery and the terrace (weather permitting) at Fonderie Darling, immediately following the wedding ceremony.


7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Dinner will be held in the Grand Gallery of Fonderie Darling.
